Dark silicon / noun / chip design
A processor can't power all of its transistors at once without cooking itself, so most of the chip sits dark at any given moment.
A dungeon crawler about descending past the last depth light reaches.
A cosmic-horror mystery about a city grown up around a well, told through play rather than cutscenes. Every level down takes the party further into madness: permanent character consequences and boons, and equipment powerful enough that it costs you something to carry.
First-person, grid-based, turn-based, and drawn in two colors. The lantern doesn't dim so much as coarsen: the further a wall sits from the light, the sparser the dither that describes it.
Five endings, unlockable classes, and scripted optional content throughout. It plays as much like a tabletop session as a dungeon crawler.
